We will implement Jingle, and we will define the video specs using our implementation. The goal is to have interoperable clients and server that support P2P, audio e video based on open protocols, same thing we did a few years ago with Jabber; in other words, Motime users will be able to connect to Google talk users and other clients
What's behind Motime and Tipic?
Thanks to the Internet Archive, I was able to find my old blog and an article that I wrote back in 2001 about the ideas that lead to the creation of Tipic and then Splinder and Motime. I also found the interview with the Jabber Software Foundation which was quite interesting to read again after all these years.
