paolino@tipic.com just installed te new version of the WYSIWYG editor. This new addition to TipicWeb tools allows users to post content to the site in a way that is very similar to MS Word (and everything is implemented in JavaScript so no need to download components). :-)) very powerful stuff!!
Yesterday Paperino@tipic.com gave a Demo of the first release of TIMP Scripting. I was impressed! The tool is powerful, it allows developers to use Perl, Python or VBscript to create TIMP plugins. Umberto came out with a name for this tool, which I personally like: T-SPEED (Tipic - Scripting Plugin Enhanced Express Development) :-)
TIMP is now a commercial product! The evaluation version is online. We put a lot of work in this and it starting to pay off. There a number of new announcement we will make shortly, mostly about Plug-ins to enhance TIMP, but also new architectures....
Well, after one week I back to Milan.
The big news is that I got married to Francesca. The wedding took place in Cagliari, Sardinia; it was non religious and very family oriented (only 30 relatives).
We spent the Honey Moon visiting Greek Islands (Santorini my favorite). Tourism is low and the place is for few elected in May.
Now it is time to catch up. The commercial release of TIMP is approaching as well as many other new things :-)
