TipicIM Spanish version has now been downloaded quite a few times. A jabber server @ es.tipic.com was set up, and now the first Spanish users are signing-up. Buenas Dias Jabberos :-)
this week end my parents are in Milan visiting; it is a bit cloudy now but not very cold fortunately (5 celsius). Will be mostly off line except for e-mail checking.
Feedback from TW32JS Beta Testers is coming in. They like the product and this is very inspiring for us to continue to work non stop improving it.
Finally it started raining in Milan today after a few very dry months... hopefully the rain will clean the air. But a long term solution to the pollution generated by cars must be found. Present communication technology allows for efficient bit movements, yet atoms are still unnecessarily moved around!
Well, another item off the to do list, TW32JS is now available for selective downlaod
Today I participated to TW32JS Beta Test and installed the Server on my Win2000 desktop (running an old Pentium I @ 200Mhz). Well what can I say, installation went smoothly, I had a Jabber server running in 15 minutes. Now, I have never installed a Jabber server on Linux, but they told me 15 min is quite good! The only thing that needs some fixing is AteConsole, which is still in Alpha (0.2) and it shows...
I forgot that the stop to traffic would last until 8:00 p.m., so I was stuck for a few hours waiting :-(
No traffic in Milan Today. Due to pollution problems cars are not allowed in the city center.

These days have been quite full, lots of work and no time to think. Now at least the first BIG items of the to do list are done. The Spanish version of TipicIM is running smoothly with some minor bug fixing left; time to make an installer and ship it. Next TW32JS Beta and lots of docs.....

Today I tried the very first Alpha version of ATE Console. The tool is very promising allowing easy administration of TW32JS. Right now it is early stage but in a few weeks it will be interesting...:-) |
